Ankle Support Braces
This year in football i sprained my right ankle severely and was on crutches for 3 weeks. after i got off my crutches my knee started to hurt really bad where the tendon is. now, i am playing basketball and i’m having a hard time running because every time i put weight on my leg it hurts really bad. it is my left knee (the leg that didnt get hurt) that is giving me trouble. so would anyone know of a brace that could support my knee so i can run?

the reason that you are now having trouble with the knee of your uninjured leg is because the good leg over compensates for the injured leg. a good over the counter brace is one that has an open patella. It will give your knee excellent support while allowing all types of movement with only a little restriction.

You need to go see physical therapy to get the proper brace for you knee. Also be sure your doc is aware of your continued pain and get his advice on this too.

don’t know about running but people who lift heavy weights use schiek knee wraps for ultimate support
