OUCH OUCH OUCH I THINK I SPRAINED MY ANKLE!!! OUCH OUCH OWWWWWWWWWWW?
OUCH! I THINK I JUST SPRAINED MY ANKLE REAL BAD!!!?
I think i tore or streched my ligament too much in my leg.
Ouch ouch I think I just sprained my ankle! Ok now it hurts really bad but its not my ankle that hurts but my leg more exactly it feels like im pulling a muscle there when I rotate my foot. It is bruised (my leg). I don’t know if I have a sprained ankle or a torn or stretched muscle/ligament.
Also : This happened while I was horseback riding (I did not fall off the horse) my foot made the wrong ‘turn’ when it was in the stirrups (the place you put your foot) and I think I twisted it. It has been 3 days since it happened and it still hurts. I don’t think it is any different from now and then. (the pain)
I can walk on my ankle it does not hurt too much but I still can’t take a proper step I have to limp.

Put ice on it for 15 mins then take it off until its the same temp as the other leg.
Keep it Elevated above the heart so lay down and put your leg up on a pillow (a great time to catch up on movies!!!)
Try to stay off it as much as possible!
If you feel you need to have something around it to keep it more stable try sports take for a few days… there is instructions on how to tape properly when you buy it.. or you can find it on the net….
(make sure you only use any of the tape, tensor bandage or brace for only a few days…. less then a week… otherwise you risk weakening the muscles.)
The most important thing to do is to rest it
The rest of your leg hurts becuase you twisted your leg around and there are a lot of ligs and tendons in your leg. And there isnt much else you can do besides rest and control the swelling.
One more thing if there is pain take ibprofen … it controls pain and decreses swelling… so advil does the same.

You need to apply liniments on the affected part like methyl salicylate or oil of wintergreen to lessen the pain. Wrap the sprained ankle with an elastic bandage ensuring that the tightness is just right. In this way, you won’t sprain your ankle the next time.
