left ankle has been in a walking cast(that ends right below knee)for about 3months due to pain of a 2 year old injury…its killing my knee wearing it…my doctor gave me a lace up brace as well for around the hoouse..will wearing it and combat boots be sufficient enough for everyday use?

i went to the doctors today and had to get xrays.
