i was just wondering if i should use an ankle brace now that i have broken my left ankle and if it is recommended can you guys give me an idea of what brand i should use like McDavid and which one.

I fractured my right fibula about 8 weeks ago and am now starting to play basketball again and have an ankle brace for my right leg. I was wondering do i need an ankle brace for my left ankle also or is it ok to have ankle brace only on one leg?
I play ice hockey, and we had a game a few hours ago and I stopped a slapshot with the outside of my left ankle. On impact it hurt like crazy and also for a few minutes after, but the pain easily went away, so I continued playing.

I am a competitive swimmer and I just severed two tendons in my left ankle. I am not allowed to walk on it or swim with it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep moving while staying immoblile?
