Will this cause me problems if I try to join the Air Force?
I have a foot problem that only happens maybe once every 1-2 months. I had played soccer for numerous years which is where I think my problem may have began. My ankle became a big problem after I went on a 10 mile hiking trip about 7 years ago and my ankle got messed up from all the jumping off rocks.Well now I have a problem running on the treadmill even if it is for 5 minutes. I even wear an ankle brace and it does not prevent my ankle from giving out. I will be running then BOOM. I get a sharp pain in my ankle and have to just jump off the treadmill and lay down. This has caused me to fall before because the pain is so bad. It is weird because it will be fine 30 seconds later. I went to the doc and he had no idea what was wrong. Do you have any idea what it could be?
I went to podiatry.

Well even at most basic level, you are suposed to go under more intense than average physical training.
I think it would be a problem. Why don’t you approach your nearest air force base and ask directly?

If your doc had no idea what was wrong and you told him the same information (or even similar) that you said on here then you should see another one. Is he your GP/Primary Care doctor? Maybe go in for an unannounced general care appt and see a nurse practitioner so at least you can get a refer all to a specialist and/or get x-rays and or other diagnostic tests.

it will cause you problems if you join the air force, but I do believe there is a waiver system set up, so I would ask the doctor at whatever induction center you go to

they will not let you join cause of this, but if the doctor finds out whats wrong with it they might let you join
